'Hi! My name is Lori Good and I have provided physical therapy to small children in Kingwood, WV for over 15 years. One thing families with children that have special needs have often expressed to me is the desire to take all their children to the playground to play together. Kingwood has limited playgrounds to start and none of which are inclusive. This then requires us to make modifications and carry the children to access the playgrounds. An all inclusive playground would mean so much to the community to allow all children with varying abilities to play together without the need from a therapist to intervene and need to adapt the situations. Families all want one thing......to be able to go as a family and play at the playground with all their children. They want their child with special needs to feel included and not excluded. An all inclusive playground would be a extraordinary asset to the community. It would also allow typical functioning children the opportunity to play with their special needs friends. It would also allow families with special needs children to feel just like any other parent and not worry about if their child will be able to participate. I am so excited that Laura and Jason Mazza have worked so hard to build Wade's World all inclusive playground in Kingwood, WV.'
